As an artist and curator, I’m thrilled to have been a part of the Beach Hut 2025 Art Show, a unique fundraising initiative that combines creative expression with the preservation of Muizenberg’s iconic beach huts.
My Artworks on Display
In addition to curating this special exhibition, I’m proud to showcase four of my own artworks that celebrate the beauty of Cape Town’s landscape and commitment to sustainability.
In the Cloud
“In the Cloud” pays homage to the early morning beauty of Cape Town’s landscape. This hard-edge style painting depicts the Table Mountain surrounded by a vast ocean and dramatic clouds, as seen from Bloubergstrand.
Chapmans Peak
This vibrant scene of Chapmans Peak is composed of upcycled plastic bottle tops, transforming waste into a beautiful work of art that celebrates the beauty of nature.
Top Mountain
“Top Mountain” presents a captivating view of Table Mountain, crafted from meticulously arranged plastic bottle tops. This artwork showcases my commitment to upcycling and reducing waste.
Muizenberg Beach
This expressive and dynamic artwork embodies the spirit of a beloved Cape Town beach. Using a unique flow technique with paint-filled plastic bottles, I’ve created a mesmerizing piece that evokes the feeling of a windy summer day.
Supporting a Great Cause
The Beach Hut 2025 Art Show is more than just an exhibition – it’s a chance to support the preservation of Muizenberg’s iconic beach huts and the local community. Proceeds from the sale of artworks will go towards funding the ongoing maintenance of the Beach Huts.
I’m honored to be a part of this initiative and hope you’ll join me in supporting this great cause.
